Today was surprisingly busy! We woke up early this morning to go out and ride. We ran to the gate from the road, and I really felt like collapsing on the ground. I did NOT want to run this morning, but I did. And then Sazare attacked me. What a start. Riding was good, and I did a lot of trotting a posting. Johanna forgot her long pants and didn't trot. I think she will definitely remember next time. When I was waiting for my lesson, I found a really interesting book called Blindness. It sounds really good, and very unique. But I have to finish The Shack first. Oh well. It's good, and I will get through it fast. After riding, we went home and ate a fabulous lunch of chicken salad. At first, I thought it was tuna, so I put a ton of mustard on it, and it didn't taste to good. Whoops! At one o'clock, we went downtown to feed the homeless. We sang to them and handed out milk and soup. It was quite an experience, and I was sad to leave it early. After our long travel home, too much traffic, Johanna had her violin lesson and I had my computer lesson. I learned about Excel, Google Translate, and Photoshop. It's so neat! Soon after that, Amelia and Hulia came over. We spent the whole time playing Hand and Foot, Hulia and I against Amelia and Johanna. We beat them by about 5,000 points. So ha! Johanna! It was all really fun. Then we had a great meal of Grandma's famous Chile. Yum...delish! And to top it off, and spectacular dessert of mango crisp. It was wonderful. Well, that concludes my day. Leave a comment!
P.S. Did I mention it was horribly raining all day? If not, it was. It smelled good though.
Nice post, Lindsay. It's Julia with a "J" but pronounced like an "h". And her sister is Emilia. Oh yes, one more, the German Shepard is "Cesar".
