Monday in Queretero

Today was absolutely fabulous! We got to sleep in, and go to Queretaro. The drive was wonderfully beautiful. So many pictures. When we finally got there, we went straight to shopping. So many opportunites! I bought perfume, bouncy toys, and gems. It was all too cheap, except the perfume. They didn't have any mini sizes, so we had to but full bottles. Oh well. They will sure last. After browsing quite a bit,we had an amazing lunch at 1810 restaraunt and bar. I had really good spaghetti, Johanna had lasagna, Grandma had a diaphram of a cow, and Gramps had chile something. It was all good. Then we went to Costco. We shopped around, Johanna and I even got to browse by ourselves! We played with computers, i pods, and tvs. Neat-o! Then we ate ice cream (well, frozen yogurt) and a great, big churro1 It was so good. I still feel like a fat man. I feel asleep on the car ride home and didn't want to wake up. But I had to. We unloaded the car and I messed around until Johanna was done with her violin practice. We went swimming after that. The water was so grody! Yuck! When we got out we quickly washed our hair in the sink. A bit messy I would say. Well, we just ate quesodillas. So I'm gonna go read. See ya!! :)

  1. Cow diaphram is actually Arrachera - marinated beef - yummy. Grandpa had Chiles en Nogada - a traditional stuffed poblano chili with walnut cream sauce and topped with pomegranate seeds.
